Last Sunday our legendary black belt gradings were held. Together with Master Rick from the Northern Dragons, Master Craig welcomed a big group of highly skilled and highly motivated students on the mat. It was an intense 3 hour session that included everything from fitness, striking skills and self-defence through to forms, board breaks and an intense sparring session. All students were pushed to give their best and showcased their skills.
Crow had two students who went for their next belt. After putting a long time of hard work and determination into her skills, Therese went for her first degree black belt. She showed an amazing performance and topped it off with an awesome board break at the end. Therese can be very proud of her achievement and rightfully earned her black belt that day.
The other student who went for her next belt was one of our senior instructors. Amy demonstrated an outstanding level of skill and technique, that had the entire audience talking. Amy well and truly deserved her 3rd degree black belt. Crow is extremely excited to have her as part of our instructing team.
Congratulations to both students and all other participants. You did a great job.
